Asus has a new 13.3 inch laptop in the works that will be powered by the 1.65 GHz AMD E-450 dual core processor coupled with Radeon HD 6320 graphics. Blogese reports the model to be the Asus U32U and it’s expected to ship early next year for $449 and up in the US.

Our friends at Eee PC.it in Italy got their hands on the Asus Eee PC X1012 budget netbook powered by a 1.33 GHz Intel Atom N435 processor and MeeGo Linux operating system. They’ve posted a detailed review, and video.

But you’ll also get very quick boot times. How quick? Microsoft has posted a video showing a laptop with Windows 8 booting in just 9 seconds.
