Sony’s new Vaio P takes a few cues from Tablets

The new Sony Vaio ultra mobile has now been announced in at least the US, Europe and Japan. The new Sony runs on the Silverthorne platform and there are models available with the Atom Z530 – Z560 processors with the new addition being the Z560 processor clocked at 2.13 GHz. There’s a trackpad too, but on the right screen bezel and buttons on the left edge – meant for two handed operation.

[Review] Sony Vaio W Eco Series

CNET has reviewed Sony’s new Vaio W Eco Series. I hear you ask, why it is called the Eco series? Well, the chassis of this netbok is made from recycled materials and, like most new netbooks, the old less efficient Atom N270 processor has been ditched for the more energy efficient Intel Atom N450 processor.

New Sony Netbook Spotted at the FCC

NewNetbookReviews has discovered a very new Sony netbook over at the FCC. In fact, it hasn’t been annoucned but this new Sony Vaio netbook will feature a 10.1″ display and the new Intel Atom N450 processor. The model will be called the PCG-21313L and you can see a chart of some of specs after the break.
