Sony gives Vaio YB series an AMD E-450 Fusion upgrade

Sony launched the Vaio YB earlier this year with the 1.6 GHz AMD E-350 chip and Radeon HD 6250 graphics. Today, Sony’s 11.6 inch notebook, it looks like it now packs a little more power.

Sony S1 tablet to go up for order in the UK in September

Sony is preparing to launch its first Android tablet and there’s good news for us in tjhe UK. The folks at This is My Next found some leaked documents suggesting that Sony Centre stores in the UK will start taking pre-orders for the Sony S1 tablet on September 1.

Sony reportedly working on new Google Chrome OS netbook

We know that the likes of Acer and Asus are working on new Chrome OS netbooks – any most recently even Archos may have gotten into the game. Now, however, Sony Insider reports that Sony is possibly building a 11.6 inch netbook to run Google’s upcomign web browser-based operating system.
