MSI Wind U160DX now with DDR3 memory

Intel has announced new Atom Processors , the N455 and N475, that are compatible with DDR3 RAM and one of the first netboooks to use them will be the MSI Wind U160DX . Johannes at NewGadgets.de got a chance to checked out the new MSI Wind U160DX netbook at a press event today. They noted that it was mostly identical to the existing MSI Wind U160 that was released a few months ago but with the new 1.66GHz Intel Atom N455 processor and support for DDR3 memory. MSI also says it can get up to 15 hours of battery life.

MSI Wind U140 to be Launched Next Month with WiMax

MSI have published a news post today revealing WiMAX laptops that they will be showcasing at Computex 2010 in early June. Two netbooks make an appearance: The MSI Wind U135, and the MSI Wind U140. The MSI Wind U140 has an identical chassis to last generation’s Wind U120 but switches out the Atom N280 processor for an Atom N450 processor. A 6-cell battery is ditched for a 3-cell battery with an overall weight of 1.2 kg / 2.6 pounds.

[Video] MSI Wind U135 Unboxing

Brad, over at Liliputing, takes a look at the latest in the MSI Wind series of netbooks – the MSI Wind U135. Specs on the U135 are fairly standard – you get a 10.1 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel display, 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 processor, 1GB of RAM, and 250GB hard drive. It runs Windows 7 Starter Edition and has 802.11b/g/n WiFi and Bluetooth 2.1.

MSI Shows off new Wind L1300, L1350 Pinetrail Netbooks

MSI has launched a series of new netbooks, namely the L1300, L1350, and L2300. At this point, we’re not quite sure how they differ from teh current lineup of Wind U130, U135, and U230 netbooks, but you can already by them in the US. The MSI Wind L1300 is currently on sale for $280 from Amazon. This model has a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 processor and a 10.1 inch, 1024 x 600 glossy display. It runs Windows XP.
