Gigabyte’s new Booktop T1132N is a laptop, tablet, and desktop PC

These days, the iPad has made tablets all the rage, but it’s easy to forget the convertible laptps and now Gigabyte has just released a new model that takes things to another level. The Gigabyte Booktop T1132N is a convertible notebook with a 1.6 GHz Intel Core i5 processor, an 11.6 inch, 1366 x 768 pixel capacitive multitouch display and discreet graphics.

[Review] Gigabyte Q1105 11.6″ netbook

Gigabyte ha a new ultra-portalbe out called the Q1105. This new Gigabyte has an 11.6 inch display, a slim case design, and an Intel Core 2 duo SU4100 low voltage processor. Netbook News recently got their hands on one and have posted a detailed review. In short, the keyboard is large and easy to type on,but the touchpad needs serious help. To start, it’s small and cramped, but also unresponsive, and awkwardly laid out. The notebook offers decent overall performance and runs for about 4.5 hours on a charge.

[Video] Hands-on with the Gigabyte Booktop M1005

The new Gigabyte M1005 looks like a typical netbook at first glance,but there is a difference. You can close the lid and stand up the laptop in a docking station. What sets the M1005 apart from the original Booktop is that is has Intel’s new 1.5 GHz Intel Atom N550 dual core processor. The rest of the specs are pretty much the same, as is the overall design. Netbook News got a little hands-on time with the Booktop and you can check out the video after the break.

Gigabyte’s updates netbooks with dual core processors

Gigabyte is updating their M1005 and Q2005 netbooks with new Intel Atom Dual Core processors. The Q2005 has the standard 10.1 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel screen along with 1GB of DDR3 memory (with support for up to 2GB), a 250GB hard drive (with support for up to 500GB), 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Optional Bluetooth 3.0, a 0.3MP camera, Ethernet and VGA ports, and a 3 or 6 cell battery. The company has also added the Gigabyte M1005 to its netbook line, with a 1.5GHz Intel Atom N550 dual core CPU.

[Video] Gigabyte T1005M convertible tablet netbook

Gigabyte’s new T1005M is a 10 inch netbook with a difference. It’s screen swivels 180 degrees to transform the machine into a tabletwith a touchscreen display. Unlike previous models, this new T1005M has a dual core Intel Atom N550 processor and a capacitive touchscreen display. The new model also has a new chiclet-style keyboard, a USB 3.0 port, and a redesigned hinge with a sturdier build.It also has an eSATA port and a USB 2.0 port.
