ECS is showing off a new 10 inch called the Olivetti . Netbook news got a chance to check the netbook out at Computex last week, and while it doesn’t look all that exciting on paper (1024 x 600 pixel display, Intel Atom N270 processor, 2 USB ports, 1.8 inch hard drive) the slim design is eye catching. There are some costs to bear for the ultra-slim design though – namely the smaller 1.8″ hard drive (vs. 2.5 standard on most netbooks) and just 2 usb ports on the back. The sides are almost bare, with only space for a power adapter, headphone jack, and flash card reader.

There’s no word on pricing or availability yet.

You can check out a hands-on video from Netbook News after the break.

While the rest of the specs seem pretty basic netbook fare, the design looks sleek annd slim and the keyboard is the popular chiclet style.
