Dell Inspiron Mini 11z gets a Proper Touchpad

Remember the Dell Inspiron Mini 11z thin and light we took a look at back in January? It’s Dell’s thin & light notebook / netbook with a 11.6 inch, 1366 x 768 pixel HD display, an Intel CULV processor, and a nice wide keyboard. One thing really holding it back was a crappy touchpad that used those right and left buttons on either side of the scrolling area. Wel, now some folks in are reporting that Dell has started shipping the Inspiron Mini 11z with a new touchpad that has two distinct buttons below the touchpad.

Today at the FCC: Dell Latititude 2110 Netbook with WiMAX

Today’s unflattering FCC picture is of the Dell Latitude 2110, a business-and-education oriented netbook which certainly isn’t a stunner to start with, but the FCC photographers aren’t doing it any justice. Nevertheless, it went up on the FCC web site today showing up with 802.11b/g/n WiFi and WiMAX connectivity.

Dell updates Latitude Netbooks with Pinetrail Processors

Well, it’s better late than never we suppose. Despite the fact that Intel’s Pinetrail processors launched last January, Dell has decided that now is the time to to update its Latitude netbook with Intel’s Pine Trail processors. The 10-inch Latitude 2110, like the previous 2100, is still very much aimed at students, and keeps its chassis in tact with the same rubber cover (available in red, blue and black) as well as that anti-microbial keyboard to protect against insect secretions, misplaced mayonnaise and far-flung mucus particles.
