[Review] HP Mini 1103 netbook
The HP Mini 1103 is the latest buiness oriented netbook from HP. It’s also relatively cheap for a business netbook, coming in at just $299 in the US. It features the same basic design as HP’s Mini 210, but there are some differences:
- The Mini 1103 is only available in solid black.
- The Mini 1103 has a glossy lid, while the Mini 210 lid is matte.
- The Mini 210 has a touchpad with integrated left and right buttons, but Mini 1103 has a single bar below the touchpad which you can tap to register left and right clicks.
However, besides those differences, the HP MIni 1103 and the Mini 210 are largely the same. They feature similar island-style keyboards and rear panels which can be removed to upgrade the RAM, hard drive, or other components without a screwdriver. A nice feature is that both netbooks can open to a 180 degree angle, due to the way the battery and hinge have been designed.
The HP Mini 1103 should be available for purchase soon, the HP Mini 210 is available now at Amazon for £259.99
