Samsung shows of brand new NF series netbooks
UPDATE: Samsung’s NF210 netbook is now available at Amazon for £317.67
We’ve seen lots of netook manufacturers jump on the Intel N550 bandwagon recently but this morning Samsung stepped it up a notch by introducing a brand new series of netbooks – the NF110, NF210, and NF310. The top of line mode, NF310, gets tej 1.5GHz Intel Atom N550 CPU and a 10.1 inch, 1366 x 768 pixel display. It runs Windows 7 Starter Edition and should cost about $399 (in the US) when it goes on sale this Fall.
The middle of the range, Samsung NF210, also gets the sleek new design that is thicker in the back than the front, but drops the dual core 1.5ghz N550 for a single core 1.66ghz N455 chip. There’s a the usual 1024 x 600 pixel display and a starting price of $379 (again in the US).
We don’t have any information about the budget minded NF110, but we assume a N455 processor, low spec battery and minimal features.
More info when we have it, in the meantime, check out the full specs and some more pictures after the break.
