It seems like every netbook maker is rushing to add Intel’s latest N550 processor to their lineup and Acer is no exception.Acer was quick off the mark in introducing its Aspire One D255 netbook way back in July and now it’s also the first to sell the dual core Atom N550 processor equipped D255 in the US at HSN.com. That’s right, the Home Shopping Network.

Anyway, the Acer Aspire One D255 is available for $399.90. It comes in four color choices, red, black, aquamarine, or sandsonte. All four models feature identical specs, including:

• 1.5GHz Intel Atom N550 dual core CPU
• 1GB of DDR3 1066MHz memory
• 250GB, 5400RPM hard drive
• 10.1 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel display
• Intel GMA 3150 graphics
• 802.11b/g/n WiFi
• 10/100 Ethernet
• 3 USB 2.0 ports
• VGA output
• 6 cell, 4400mAh battery

You can find more details at HSN.com. I suspect we’ll see this and other Atom N550-powered netbooks pop up at other retailers soon. But right now it appears to be an HSN exclusive.
