First look and unboxing of the HP Mini 210 HD
Liliputing got a HP Mini 210 HD to review, and made the unboxing video above. The HP Mini 210 HD, which comes with a high resolution 1366 x 768 pixel 10 inch display. First impressions of the HP Mini 210HD are:
- Likes the sleek design of theHP Mini 210. Bottom surface is smooth, giving streamlined appearance
- Chiclet style keyboard is easy to use, good layout.
- Not wild about the integrated touchpad buttons.
- Glossy screen hard to read in direct sunlight.
There’s a review coming later, with particular focus on the high resolution display. Other netbooks equipped with the Intel Atom processors and a high-res 1366 x 768 pixel displays have proven to be sluggish. The HP Mini 210 HD can be configured with a Broadcom Crystal HD video accelerator to help with video playback, but this demo unit doesn’t have one, so we’ll wait and see what the results are like.
The regular (non-HD) HP Mini 210 is on sale now at Amazon UK for £249.99 with free shipping.
