Samsung NB30 Plus

We just saw a refrech of the Samsung N150, called the Samsung N150 Plus and now we find out Samsung is also giving the ‘plus’ treatment to the existing Samsung N220, N230, and NB30 models.  So what does that mean?  Well, basically all that means is that the new models have 250GB hard drives instead of 160GB disks.

Samsung seems to have stanardardised their netbook lineup quite ab it as alll three models now have 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 processors, 1GB of RAM, 10.1 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel displays, and 802.11b/g/n WiFi. Each runs Windows 7 Starter Edition.  There’s a little differentiation, with the the Samsung N230′s  brushed metal-style case.  The NB30 has a semi-rugged design with a spill-resistant keyboard and the Samsung N220 has a simple plastic case and a matte display.  There’s some weight difference between the models as well. The Samsung N230, for instance weighs 2.2 pounds, while the N150 weighs 2.7, the NB30 is 2.8 pounds, and the N220 is 2.9 pounds.

No word yet on when the ‘plus’ models will get here, but the current models are available as follows:

Samsung NB30 – £262.86, Amazon UK

Samsung N220 – £305.60, Amazon UK

Samsung N210 (white) – £269.99, Amazon UK
