Here’s the latest from Samsung’s marketing department- the new Samsung N230 will start shipping on June 28th in the States.  The N230 is capable of an impressive 13.8 hours of battery life on one charge of its 6-cell 66Wh battery. You can also downgrade to a 32Wh battery, good for 7 hours of charge.  There’s also a 10.1” matte display with either a 1.66 GHz processor or 1.83 GHz processor, 1 GB of RAM and a 250 GB HDD.   So standard netbook specs, but there is an optional 3g modem and a standard wireless b/g/n capable WiFi card.

It’s due to start shipping today in the States and we expect a UK launch date soon.  Check out the official press release picture and full specs after the break.
