New Atom D525 / D425 Processors now Available

Starting today, the new Intel Atom D525 / D425 series processors are now available for manufacturers to build netbooks and nettops. Both these processors are clocked at 1.8GHz with the D525 being dual core and the D425 being single core. There is support for DDR3 RAM as well.
Two new netbooks have been announced with the dual core Atom D525 processor – The ASUS Eee PC 1215N and the ASUS Lamborghini VX6. The latest news is that the 1215N is coming in December and the VX6 in September.
