Lenovo IdeaPad S10-3s Unboxing

Peter, at Netbooked, took delivery of a brand new 10.1” Lenovo IdeaPad S10-3s netbook that is out in some Asian countries already and gives it the full unboxing treatment (video below). This S10-3s model from Lenovo ships with the latest and greatest Atom N470 processor and can be configured with an optional HD 1280 x 720 display though his did not come with a HD display just the standard 1024 x 600 display.

He had a few initial impressions:

- The glossy fingerprint magnet, cheap plastic covers 100% of the machine.
- Feels slightly cheaper than the S10-3.
- Runs noisier and hotter than the S10-3.
- Lack of access panels on the back, not even for RAM. Quite sad and surprising given that this is a netbook from Lenovo.
