We’ve heard rumours about a Lenovo ThinkPad Mini 10 model (basically a X100e but with a 10″ screen) but hadn’t seen it make an appearance up until now.  Today, one user on the Whirlpool forums has spotted a gaggle of the ThinkPad Mini 10 netbooks at a school in NSW, Australia – apparently part of a district wide roll-out.

The Mini 10 is the same as the ThinkPad X100e but with a 10-inch screen on the same chassis (including the trackpoint and chiclet keyboard) and an Atom N450 processor / GMA 3150 graphics instead of AMD and ATI graphics.  As a result, there’s a thicker bezel around the screen and the word “Mini 10” where the “X100e” on the bottom right of the screen bezel.
