Along with the plethora of new models from Asus at CeBIT today, there were also a few from Gigabyte. They hvae three new models on display at CeBIT this week, including the T1000 convertible tablet style netbook, and the Q1000C and M1000 series netbooks.
Gigabyte M1000
This appears to be an updated version of the outgoing Gigabyte BookTop M1022. The new model swaps out the old 1.6GHz Atom N270 CPU for a new 1.83GHz Intel Atom N470 chip. The M1000 also has a high resolution, 1366 x 768 pixel 10 inch display.
There’s a hands-on video from Sascha at NetbookNews.de which we’ve also embedded after the break. He notes that his Gigabyte netbook now has a chiclet-style keyboard and a 6-cell battery. Like it’s predecessorit also has a docking port for connecting to a docking station and an ExpressCard slot.
Gigabyte Q1000C
This is a brand new model, featuring the new 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 processor and a 10.1 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel display. There’s a rather small touchpad with buttons on the left and right sides rather than below the touch area. The Q1000C has 1GB of RAM, a 160GB or 250Gb hard drive, Bluetooth 2.1, 3 USB ports, VGA, and Ethernetjacks, and an optional HSDPA module.
Remember to check out the videos after the break.
