[Video] MSI Wind U160 Unboxing
MSI announced a couple of new 10″ Pinetrail netbooks at CES 2010 last month, one of which was the MSI Wind U160. Johannes, at NewGadgets.de, convinced MSI to send him a pre-production model and gives us a little unboxing of this new machine from MSI.
Specs on the U160 are fairly predictable for the new flavour or Pinetrail netbooks, namely Windows 7 Starter Edition, a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 processor, 1GB of RAM, GMA 3150 graphics, and a choice of a 3 or 6 cell battery. A nice feature is that there’s also a SIM card slot, and hopefully a factory and/or DIY 3g modem in its future. Design-wise, the U160 has a glossly lid, chiclet keyboard and a nicely textured touchpad that unfortunately only has a single piece of plastic that serves for both touchpad buttons.
We’re not sure whe it hits UK shores, but check out the unboxing video after the break.
