Lenovo S10-3t Tablet Netbook

Lenovo’s new Ideapad S10-3t has started shipping and the folks at NetbookNews.de have posted an unboxing photoshoot. The S10-3t is the tablet version of the new Lenovo S10-3 line, and it’s the company’s first foray into the tablet market.  Specs on this $549 (UK pricing not yet available) consist of a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 pinetrail processor, 1GB of RAM, a 160GB hard drive and Windows 7 Starter. The screen is a 10. 1 inch touchscreen display that you can fold over the keyboard for use in tablet mode.

You may be surprised to see the chunky bezel on the Lenovo IdeaPad S10-3t, but despite looking a little old school it is functional, giving you something to hold onto when using the notebook in tablet mode. The touchpad has intregrated left and right mouse buttons instead of the usual physical one below the touchpad.  The jury is is still out if this is an improvement, or not.
