[Review] Asus Eee PC 1201N Dual Core, Nvidia Ion Netbook
Liliputing has put up a review of the Asus Eee PC 1201N. It’s a notable netbook from Asus since it’s their first netbook with Nvidia Ion graphics. Coupled with the Atom 330 dual core processor, it’s a netbook that is much more powerful (at least on paper) than the normal 1.6ghz single core processor. Alongside the powerful CPU and GPU, there’s also RAM which is expandable to a formidable 4gb maximum. Overall a positive review from Liliputing – we’ve summed it up in bullet points below. Want to get one? Well, the Asus 1201N is currently available for pre-order from Amazon shipped free for £408 .
Pros:
- Good performance from the dual core Atom and Ion combo.
- 1366 x 768 pixel display is sharp and clear, enjoy full 720p resolution video
- Expandable to 4gb of memory via user accessible ports.
Cons:
-Glossy cover and screen hard to keep clean. Screen glare in sunlight.
-Netbook can get hot during use.

Still waiting for a multitocuh ion2 that weighs around 1kg!
