Medion Launches Akoya E1222 Pinetrail Netbook

Medion has released their first Pinetrail powered netbook, called the Akoya E1222. Previous Akoya netbooks from Medion were just rebranded MSI Wind netbooks and we think this is also rebranded but we can’t figure out which design yet. Let us know if you recognize it.

Specs on the E1222 are pretty standard for this generation of netbooks, notably a 10.1” 1024 x 600 display (looks glossy), Atom N450 processor, GMA 3150 graphics, 1GB RAM, 250GB HDD, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1, 1.3MP webcam. Decked with the standard array of ports. Windows 7 Starter. 4-cell and 6-cell battery options.

It’ll be released locally in Germany at least, priced from 299 Euros.
