Intel to add DDR3 RAM Support to new Intel Atom N455 and N475
Fudzilla reports that Intel will be adding DDR3 memory support to the 1.83GHz N470 and 1.6GHz N450 chips, and at the same time renaming them N455 and N475 . Both of those chips are expected to maintain their current TDP (power consumption) ratings, and both are expected to launch in Q3 of this year. It’s certainly not a huge upgrade, and it’s only going to make a minor difference in speed but at least some progress is being made. Now, where are the dual core netbook processors Intel!?
