A Closer Look at the Pinetrail’d Samsung N210 and N220
The Samsung N220 and N210 are two of the first Intel Atom N450 Pine Trail processored netbooks available here in the UK. Like all of Samsung’s new netbooks, they feature multit-touch touchpads, matte screens, and a new chiclet style keyboards. If that didn’t entice you, perhaps this will, Samsung’s 5600mAh 6 cell battery is said to power these netbooks for up to 11.2 hours!
So, what’s the difference between the N210 and N220? Well, details are still thin on the ground, but it’s said that the primary physical difference between the two laptops is the keyboard. The Samsung N220 has an extra large enter key vs. the smaller enter key on the N210. At the same time, the e N210 has a wider shift button on the right side of the keyboard. Yes, a bit strange if that’s the only difference, but until we hear from Samsung or from one of you, that’s all we have to go on.
The Samsung N210 is currently shipping from Amazon for £294.71 and there are 4 N220′s in stock at the moment for 329.00, also at Amazon UK.
Check out the specs and the rest of the pictures showing the keyboard differences after the break.
