Samsung N210 and N220 now at Amazon UK

Samsung moves fast – it’s only been about a week since they first announced the new Samsung N210 and N220 10.1-inch netbooks and now they’re already available at Amazon UK.

So what’s the difference between the N210 and N220?  The price for one, the N220 costs £10 more than the N210 although the internal hardware seems to be the same.  Another difference is that the Samsung N210 is available in two colors options, white and black while the N220 is only available in a green/black shade.

Under the hood, both models have a  10.1-inch 1024 x 600 pixel LCD, and use the latest generation Intel Atom N450 1.6GHz processor, with 1GB of RAM, 250GB hard drive webcam, chicklet keyboard, and 802.11b/g/n WiFi. The 6-cell battery lasts upto 11.2 hours, while the netbook runs Windows 7 Starter Edition.

Right now the Samsung N210 is available from a third-party merchant for £315, while Amazon UK will ship it for £319 but not for 1-3 months.  The Samsung N220 is listed at  £329 from Amazon UK, but also not shippping for 1-3 months, but another merchant says they are shipping it for £405 now, although I wouldn’t hold my breath.
