The new 12″ Asus Eee PC 1201NL ditches the dual-core Atom 330 processor of many other new Asus machines, in favor of a cheaper solution, single-core Atom N270 processor. There’s still Nvidia ION graphics and the OS is downgraded to Windows 7 Starter.  Pricing should work out at around  $470 in the US.
