Today, Lenovo announced two new 10.1” IdeaPad S10-3 series models.  One in netbook form (the S10-3) and another in the popular and upcoming ‘tablet’  format (S10-3t).   The S10-3t is able to flip its screen over the chassis/keyboard to transform itself into a multi-touch capable slate tablet.  The S10-3 is the same hardware and aesthetically, it just lacks the tablet feature and will be less expensive.

The S10-3t will come with a capacitive multi-touch display, optional Atom N470 processor and what looks like a li-poly battery capable of up to 8 hours of battery life.  From the sounds of things the S10-3t should be pretty special – we can’t wait to get a hands-on.

The Lenovo IdeaPad S10-3t tablet netbook will be priced from $499 in the US  and the S10-3 netbook from $329 USD. Both will be available to buy tomorrow (Jan. 6) – in the US at least.  No word yet on UK pricing or availability.
