[Video] Kohjinsha DZ Dual Screen Netbook Unboxing and Review
This new Kohjinsha DZ netbook is unlike any other netbook currently on the market, because it has 2 10.1″ screens! Now, the folks over at Wow-Pow, have unboxed it, and also give us a thorough3 part review of its performance.
In the first part of the review, the Kohjinsha’s AMD Neo MV-40 (1.6GHz) processor performance is compared to an Atom Z550 (2.0GHz) , and somewhat suprisingly it outperforms the quicker (on paper) 2ghz Atom Z550.
I was surprised that the AMD Athlon MV-40 (1.6GHz) processor outperformed the Atom Z550 (2.0GHz) processor quite easily but then again I’ve never used either.
There’s a 6 cell battery, rated for 4.5 hours, but they got 3 hours in real life. The keyboard is a wide chiclet style, with a multi-gesture touchpad. But here’s the downside, the Kohjinsha DZ is 1.6-inches thick and weighs 1.84 kg / 4.1 lbs making it heavier and thicker than the 13.3-inch Acer Aspire 3810T.
The rest of the Kohjinsha DZ specs are:
Dual-screen 10.1” 1024 x 600 displays, AMD Athlon Neo MV-40 (1.6GHz) processor, 1GB RAM (4 max), ATI Radeon HD 3200 graphics, 160GB HDD, Gigabit LAN, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, 1.3MP Webcam, TV Tuner, Fingerprint Scanner, Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit and a 6-cell 5200mAh battery good for up to 4.5 hours.
And the cost? A whopping $1017 USD at conics.net.
