A Fashionable Asus Eee PC 1008p

We have the first pictures of the Pine Trail ASUS Eee PC 1008P.  This is actually a special edition called the 1008P-KR, designed by Karim Rashid.  The 1008p, as indicated by the similiar name, is a close relative of the Asus Eee PC 1008HA (currently available for £276.44), however it comes with a Chiclet keyboard and a removable battery (as well as the different internals of course).

The ASUS Eee PC Seashell 2 1008P-KR is expected to be released in February 2010 and will be available in Hot Pink and Gold Brown colors. There’s also a Asus Eee PC 1005HR-KR is expected very soon in Graphite Black.
