Hands on with the new Asus Eee PC 1201N

Asus Eee PC 1201N will ship early Jan 2010

The Asus Eee PC 1201N is a dual core, Atom 330 powered 12.1″ netbook with Nvidia Ion graphics. Sounds like a fantastic combo, and now we can check it out with Blogeee hands on video and pictures. Design-wise, this new 12.1″ screened netbook from Asus follows cues from the Seashell line including its chiclet style keyboard. There’s a hi-resolution screen, and Nvidia’s Ion graphics chipset to make sure your HD quality video doesn’t look choppy. You can also choose to view your video on an external display via the HDMI out port. Interestingly, along with dual core Atom 330 processor, there’s also an access port for 2 ram slots.

There’s no firm price or launch date for the Asus Eee PC 1201N in the UK yet, but we’ll have it as soon as its made available.
