Asus Eee PC 1201T AMD Dual Core Netbook gets Official
We first heard about Asus’s Eee PC 1201T last month from a trade show in China. Now, it’s official and Asus has created a product page for it. On the outside, the Eee PC 1201T looks very similiar to the Eee PC 1201N but instead of NVIDIA ION graphics and an Intel Atom processor, the Eee PC 1201T has a dual core 1.6GHz AMD Congo MV40 processor and ATI Radeon HD3200 graphics making it the first Asus netbook with the AMD /ATI combo that we know of.
Hopefully this is a sign of more processor and graphics options to come. After all, a little competition is just what Intel needs. No word on pricing or availability yet, but you can see the full specs after the break.
