Netbook Review UK

The guys at Tech Guru have put Google Chrome OS on an ASUS Eee PC T91 tablet netbook and made us a short video so we can watch along as they try it out.

And the results are very unimpressive.  The response looks incredibly laggy, although it’s sometimes hard to tell if the touch was not registered by the Asus, or if Chrome OS simply does not react to the input.  One thing is very clear to me, for a touch based operating system to work, it’ll need a very responsive touchscreen and an equally responsive and snappy operating sytem to match.  So far, it looks like there’s quite a way to go.
