Qualcomm to announce Snapdragon powered Smartbook today
Qualcomm, primarily a hardware component manufacturer, is due to announce a Smartbook deisgn today, according to Sascha over at Netbooknews.com. The Smartbook is expected to be powered by an ARM processor and use Nvidia’s Snapdragon graphics chip. Qualcomm declined to reveal any more information about this smartbook but they have launched apromo website for smartbooks at hellosmartbook.com for more info.
In early 2010 Qualcomm claims we can expect to see smartbooks from 15 different manufacturers.
