New 12.1” ASUS Eee PC 1201T gets AMD’s Congo MV40 Dual Core Processor

12.1” ASUS Eee PC 1201T
Just like the MSI Wind U230 that was just announced, the new Asus Eee PC 1201T will come with an AMD Congo dual-core MV40 (1.6GHz) processor and ATI Radeon HD3200 graphics. With this AMD chipset, we’re expecting and already seeing (thanks to the U230 review) much better performance over the Intel chips, but at the expense of battery life. Youre looking at 4 hours with the 1201T’s 6-cell battery.
No word yet on pricing or availability here in the UK, for now it’s only been introduced at an event in China.
