Updated Toshiba NB205 gets unboxed on video
Brad, over at Liliputing, has gotten his hands on the new updated version of Toshiba’s popular NB205 netbook, named the NB205-330, and put up the unboxing video seen above.
This new NB205-N330 has a higher capacity hard drive (250gb vs, 160gb), still gets up to 9 hours of battery life and features all the things we know and love about the NB205 like its large touchpad and excellent keyboard. The model will launch at $399 in the US and start shipping on the 22nd of Octover to coincide with the release of Windows 7 Starter which it will be loaded with.
Here in the UK, the closest equivalent that we know about so far is the NB200-10G priced at £279.99, or the Atom N280 equipped Toshiba NB200-10z which comes in at £319.99.

[...] Looks like Toshiba is bringing out a new netbook that will be called the NB300. Above is an image gleaned from the FCC. Not much is known at the moment, except that it will have a 10.1″ screen and use Qualcomm’s Gobi 2000 wireless chipset. That means this netbook will have a host of new wireless data options, giving the device broad coverage of 3G bands, including EVDO, WCDMA/HSPA, as well as CDMA2000 and EDGE. Other than that, the design of the underside looks a lot like the current Toshiba NB20o / NB205. [...]
