Check out the Nvidia Tegra powered Mobinnova Beam

The Mobinnova Beam
Remember back in late September when we published the first details of a new netbook called the Mobinnova élan? Well, it’s back in the spotlight, but now sporting a name that doesn’t require us to dig up the character map in to spell – its new name is the Mobinnova Beam.
Besides the name change, we have some more details as well. The Mobinnova Beam will, of course, be powered by Nvidia’s Tegra chip and therefore run Windows CES which is compatible with the ARM based Tegra processor (unlike Windows 7). It will support 720p video playback, and have excellent battery life battery life that can run for 5 to 10 hours while playing HD video or up to 24 hours when playing audio.
Laptop Magazine reports that the Mobinnova Beam will be available from US wireless carriers at a subsidized price when bundled with 3g data service. We don’t have any details of any UK wireless carriers in talks with Mobinnova, nor do we have any pricing or availability details yet. However, more news is expected CES in January.
You can find more images of the Beam at Laptop Magazine.
