Asus Eee PC 1008P / GO shows up at the FCC

ASUS Eee PC 1008P/GO with Atom N450

Two new Asus Eee PC netbooks have shown up in an FCC filing over in the States. We’re not able to say if the newAsus Eee PC 1008P and 1008Go are brand new designs, or if they’re the same as the current 1008ha ‘Seashell’ design with new innards.

Either way, from scrutinizing the picture, it appears the 1008p will get Intel’s new Atom N450 ‘PineTrail’ processor , which still runs at a pokey 1.6ghz but is more power efficient and smaller. The 1008Go on the other hand gets a 3g mobile broadband card built in.
