Asus is bringing two new 12″ netbooks to market – the Ion powered Asus Eee PC 1201N, and the 1201HA which is powered by Intel’s less powerful GMA500 graphics.

The Eee PC 1201N, due out in Ocotober of 2009, has already been discovered in a shop in Hong Kong.  It features a 12.1” 1366 x 768 display, GeForce 9400M G (ION), Atom N270 processor, 2GB RAM, 250B HDD, Bluetooth, 802.11n Wi-Fi, 1.3MP Webcam and a 6-cell (5200mAh) battery rated up to 11 hours of runtime.  It will run Windows 7 Home Premium.

Now, another model has shown up on Asus’ driver page, the 1201HA.  The drivers reveal support for Intel’s US15W Poulsbo chipset and GMA 500 video card.   On first impression, it looks to be a 12″ screen version of 11″ ASUS Eee PC 1101HA but without NVidia ION graphics and a z-series Atom processor.
