At New York Fashion Week HP and Vivienne Tam announced their second co-produced netbook, the ‘Digital Clutch’ in Tam’s 2010 Spring collection.   The new design is based on a Chinese love story “Butterfly Lovers,” and features a butterfly motif on the top lid of the netbook.

You might remember the first Vivienne Tam Edition netbook was based on the HP Mini 1000 and was released last year.  There’s no information available yet on the hardware contained within this designer netbook, but we’re guessing it will be based on HP’s Mini 110.  Pricewise, expect a hefty premium if it’s inline with last year’s offering which was priced at roughly double the base price of the standard HP nebook.  The new netbook should hit the streets in next Spring.
