AMD’s RS880 integrated graphics chip could threaten Intel’s GMA950

Nvidia / AMD RS880 Graphics
Netbooks have been hampered by the GMA950 graphics chipsets for while now. Yes, Nvidia Ion shows real promise and now, on the lower end AMD looks to challenge the status quo as well.
If The Inquirer is to be believed, an up and coming integrated chipset should boost the graphics performance of low-end machines by about fifteen percent. The RS880 would be based around the new Radeon HD 4200 core giving future netbooks just enough power to churn through 720p video smoothly.
